The Infinera CX-100E-1200F-C2 is a Cloud Xpress 2 chassis built for 100 Gigabit Ethernet data center interconnect (DCI). It packs a 1.2 Tbps WDM super-channel into a single rack unit (1RU), with 12x QSFP/QSFP28 client ports configurable up to 12x100GbE, 12x40GbE, or 48x10GbE.
The chassis supports redundant AC or DC power, redundant fans, and a hot-swappable control module for hitless software upgrades, with optional MACsec Layer 1 encryption (AES-256) on select configurations.
